Defiance is quite a gripping but sad movie, a reminder of just how rotten
and courageous people can be. It’s about a large group of Jews who camped
in a great forest and resisted and often struck deadly blows at the Nazis
and had very tenuous relations with the Russians. I think Fateless is
still a better movie about those times but Defiance will keep you
watchiing and thinking.
